As the Managing Agent for Celina Creeks of Legacy Homeowners Association, Inc., we are pleased to announce that a Virtual Annual Election Meeting of the Members has been scheduled for Thursday, March 28th, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to elect four (4) Class A Members to the Association’s Board of Directors and to discuss normal business of the Association.

The meeting and/or election cannot be held without the proper quorum; therefore, it is important to understand the voting process. You may cast your vote electronically either on the Association’s website or by email or fax. It is not necessary to assign your proxy if you vote electronically as your vote also counts toward the required quorum. If you mail your ballot, please include the proxy and ensure it is signed and dated. Only the Owner of record or the proxy holder may cast a vote, and only one vote per household is accepted. The deadline for voting is Wednesday, March 27th, 2024, 5:00 p.m. Please be sure your ballot reaches us before then.

Doe Branch Blvd., Cimarron River Drive, and Wood River Trail Erosion Remediation Meeting

Representatives from KFM Engineering and Design will be holding a public meeting to discuss the remediation plan related to the erosion issues along Doe Branch Blvd, Cimarron River Drive, and Wood River Trail. This meeting will be held at the main amenity center, located at 4141 Doe Branch Blvd, on January 22, 2024, at 6:00 PM. See the attached announcement letter for specific information.

We have an engaging lineup of activities planned for the evening, which consist of trivia and music bingo. It's an excellent opportunity to connect with both familiar faces and new neighbors in a relaxed, adult-oriented environment.

In response to requests for an adult-only HOA event, we're expecting a fantastic turnout, and we're looking forward to creating wonderful memories together. This is your chance to enjoy a kid-free night within the neighborhood, engage in meaningful adult conversations, and build lasting connections with your fellow residents.

We'll also have a delightful grazing board, ensuring that there's something for everyone to enjoy. So, whether you're in the mood for trivia, music bingo, or simply a pleasant chat, this event has it all.

We are excited to announce an upcoming event that is sure to bring our community closer together and create lasting memories. It's time to mark your calendars because the National Night Out event is just around the corner!

Event Details:

• Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• Location: Amenity Center

National Night Out is an annual event designed to strengthen the bonds within our neighborhood and connect with our local first responders. It's an excellent opportunity to meet your neighbors, build a sense of community, and show our appreciation for those who keep us safe.

Here's what we have in store for you:

• DJ: Groove to the beats and dance the night away.
• Obstacle Course: Challenge your agility and have fun with friends and family.
• Yard Games: Test your skills with a variety of fun outdoor games.
• Bubbles: Fun for the kids (and the kids at heart)!
• Glow Sticks: Light up the night with colorful glow sticks.
• Snacks and Drinks: Enjoy throughout the evening.

We have also attached a picture of the list of events planned by the HOA Social Committee for the remainder of the year. Be sure to check it out, as we have some exciting activities and gatherings planned to keep the community spirit alive.

Life Connected and our Celina Police Department have partnered to offer this Debrief session to learn about the fentanyl crisis that is in North Texas and available resources to help keep you, your family, and our community safe. Hear from our very own Sergeant Kennedy about what to look for and what's happening here in Celina.

We're excited to announce that the Creeks of Legacy HOA social committee is organizing a fantastic Back-to-School Pool Party which will include a Dive-In Movie Night for our wonderful neighborhood.

Please save the date for this fun-filled event: Date: Saturday, August 12 Time: 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM (Movie will begin at dusk) Location: Amenity Center Pool

This event promises to be a memorable evening for the whole family. We have planned a refreshing pool party and a Dive-In Movie experience starting at dusk. So grab your floats, towels, and lawn chairs, and join us for an evening of entertainment and community bonding.

Our HOA social committee is currently finalizing the details, and we will provide more information about the event in the coming weeks.

So mark your calendars and get ready for an evening of splashes, laughter, and great company. This Back-to-School Pool Party and Dive-In Movie Night will be a fantastic opportunity to relax and enjoy the company of your neighbors.

We will be sending out a follow-up email with further event details, including the movie selection, additional treats, and any guidelines or requirements to ensure everyone's safety. Keep an eye on your inbox for more exciting updates!

The 4th of July is just around the corner, and we are excited to invite you to join in the festivities at our annual Golf Cart Parade! It's time to showcase your patriotic spirit and come together as a community to celebrate Independence day.

We have arranged for Kona Ice to be at the Amenity Center from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, providing delicious and refreshing snow cones for everyone to enjoy. Take this opportunity to cool down with a free snow cone before the parade begins!

The Golf Cart Parade will start promptly at 10:00 AM. We encourage all residents to participate and decorate their golf carts with red, white, and blue decorations to show off their patriotic pride. If you don't have a golf cart, don't worry! You can still join the fun by standing outside and waving as the parade passes by and catch some candy! The parade wouldn't be as fun without neighbors to wave at!

The route for the Golf Cart Parade will cover the majority of the streets of our community, allowing us to spread the celebratory atmosphere throughout the Creeks of Legacy. It's a fantastic chance to connect with your neighbors, have some fun, and create lasting memories.
