Scheduled Water Interruption

Earlier today, the City of Celina received the following information in a memorandum from our water services provider, Upper Trinity Regional Water District (UTRWD). Due to the damage of a transmission pipeline that serves municipalities in their portfolio, the pipeline will have to be shut off for repairs next Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (July 19 - 21).

While the memorandum asserts that water customers should not experience any disruption to their service, they have requested that all outdoor watering be prohibited next Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. During these three days, UTRWD states that water will be pulled from two additional facilities to service impacted municipalities.

As Celina residents have graciously done during these hot summer days, UTRWD asks customers to make every effort to conserve water during these pipeline repairs. Thank you, in advance, for your understanding and cooperation. Again, the City of Celina expects no water service interruption next week.
