3rd Annual Halloween House Decorating Contest!

Let the neighborhood “haunting” begin for the most Spooktacular front lawns and porches!
Judging will take place throughout the week/weekend of Oct 31st,
so be sure to have your lights on and finish your decorating on time.

1st Place ~ $100
2nd Place ~ $75
3rd Place ~ $50
Honorable Mention ~ $25

Contest Rules:

*Judging will be based on “curb appeal” as viewed from the street. Only those decorations located on the street side of the property will be judged (corner lots may be judged from both streets).
*Judges will not enter the property to view.
*Participants should ensure that all lights, animations and decorations are in place and activated between 7pm and 10pm.

Judging Criteria:

*Unique design and creative use of lights and decoration.
*Display and placement of decorations.
*Overall presentation

(Judging for the home holiday decorating contests are typically viewed throughout the last week of the month and is done by Essex volunteers).
